Chocolates and Toppings

  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips one whole bag
  • 8 oz pretzels half of a 16-oz bag
  • 11 oz kraft caramel one whole bag
  • 2 tablespoon heavy cream
  • sea salt for sprinkling

  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between each time.
  • Spread about ⅔ of the melted chocolate on top of the parchment paper lined baking sheet. Top the chocolate with the pretzels, gently press them down onto the chocolate.
  • Melt the caramels with the heavy cream in a microwave safe bowl for 2 minutes. Drizzle the caramel evenly on the pretzels.
  • Drizzle the bark with the leftover melted chocolate and sprinkle some flakey sea salt on top. Chill in the fridge until set, then cut into pieces and serve. Alternatively, let it set at room temperature for about 2 hours if preferred.

Notes

Make sure not to overheat the chocolate when melting. Adjust the amount of sea salt based on your preference for sweetness.
