Green Bean Casserole Ingredients
- 4 cans (14.5-ounce) cut green beans drained
- 1 can (10.5-ounce) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (10.5-ounce) cream of bacon soup
- ½ cup crumbled cooked bacon
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- salt
- black pepper
- 1 ½ cup French fried onions
Cooking Instructions
Spray the insert of a 4 to 6-quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine the mushroom soup, bacon soup, bacon, onion powder, garlic powder, and cheese. Add the green beans and fold to combine. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours or low for 4 to 5.
Optional: toast the fried onions under the broiler for 2 to 3 minutes.
Change the temperature to warm and sprinkle with the onions when ready to serve.
