Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds beef steak (such as sirloin or tenderloin)
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Beef: Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Sear the Steak: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces and sear until browned on all sides.
  • Add Aromatics: Remove the steak from the skillet and add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until softened.
  • Combine Ingredients: In a slow cooker, add the seared steak, sautéed onions, garlic, sliced mushrooms, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Stir to combine.
  • Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the meat is tender.
  • Add Cream: About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the heavy cream.
  • Check Seasoning: Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
  • Serve: Once done, give it a gentle stir and top with fresh parsley before serving.
