Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 cups canned pumpkin not pie filling
  • cup brown sugar
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup applesauce or canola oil
  • 3 whole eggs room temp
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips reserve some for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9×5 loaf pans.
  • Whisk flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and spice.
  • In another bowl, mix pumpkin, sugars, applesauce (or oil), eggs, and vanilla.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in both types of chocolate chips.
  • Divide into pans, sprinkle reserved chips on top.
