- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 2 cups canned pumpkin not pie filling
- ⅔ cup brown sugar
- ⅔ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup applesauce or canola oil
- 3 whole eggs room temp
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips reserve some for topping
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9×5 loaf pans.
Whisk flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and spice.
In another bowl, mix pumpkin, sugars, applesauce (or oil), eggs, and vanilla.
