Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 250 g glutinous rice flour
  • 100 g wheat flour
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 100 ml milk
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Combine glutinous rice flour, wheat flour, sugar, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
  • Add milk, water, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix until fully combined.
  • Shape the mixture into donut rings using your hands.
  • Use a pastry brush to ensure the edges stick together.
  • Repeat until all the mixture is used.

Cooking

  • Fry the donuts in a deep fryer at 170 ºC for 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
  • Alternatively, bake in the oven at 170 ºC for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool before dipping in your choice of glaze.

Notes

These mochi donuts can be dipped in various glazes for added flavor.
