Ingredients
  

Strawberry Milk

  • ½ cup milk (I use pistachio)
  • 2-3 tablespoons strawberry jam (homemade in notes)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Matcha

  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • ½ teaspoon lavender or regular honey (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • To make the strawberry milk, combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy.
  • To make the matcha, in a bowl, whisk together the matcha and hot water until a paste forms. Add ½ cup cold water and the honey, if using, whisk until frothy.
  • Pour the strawberry milk over ice, then pour over the matcha. Stir to combine.

Notes

Strawberry Vanilla Jam: Add 3 cups sliced strawberries, ¼ cup honey, and 2 teaspoons lemon juice to a medium-size pot set over high heat. Bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, use a potato masher or fork to break down and mash the berries. Continue to cook for 5 minutes or until the jam has reduced and thickened by ⅓. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla. Let cool.
