Cheese Foam Ingredients

  • 1 oz cream cheese room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream cold
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla sugar or white sugar, powdered sugar, etc
  • ¼ teaspoon salt use just a pinch if topping unsweetened milk tea

Instructions
 

Cheese Foam Preparation

  • Place room temperature cream cheese in a small mixing bowl.
  • Add sugar and salt.
  • Using a hand mixer with the whisk attachment, whip cream cheese on low and then on high until light and fluffy.
  • Add heavy cream to the cream cheese mixture and whip until mixture is light and fluffy.
  • Add milk a little at a time until the topping is light, fluffy, foamy, and pourable.
  • Use a spoon or ladle to add to your milk tea.

Notes

This topping is usually salty to pair well with sweet milk tea. Try different sweeteners like vanilla sugar, golden syrup, or sugar alternatives. Make it vegan by using coconut cream and vegan cream cheese.
