Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon

Spices

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl combine the garlic powder, paprika, salt, chili powder, and onion powder. Set aside.
  • In a bowl or measuring cup add and mix together the honey, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and sriracha.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • On a cutting board carefully peel the skin off the salmon, using a knife if necessary. Discard the skin and cut the salmon into 1 inch cubes.
  • Add the cut salmon to a mixing bowl and sprinkle the spices over it and toss gently to coat.
  • Add the coconut oil to the skillet. Add the salmon pieces in one layer. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Flip the salmon and add the honey sauce. Cook for 1 more minute, gently move the salmon around in the skillet. Cook an additional 60 to 90 seconds. Remove from heat.
  • Let the skillet sit for 2-3 minutes before serving the salmon bites.
