Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  • In the same skillet, sauté sliced mushrooms until browned. Add minced garlic and thyme; cook for another minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth and let simmer for about 2 minutes. Reduce heat, then stir in heavy cream and Parmesan until smooth.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes until heated through.
  • Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
