Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup wild rice
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

  • In a large soup pot, sauté onion, carrots, and celery until tender.
  • Add garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  • Add the wild rice and reduce heat to simmer for about 30 minutes.
  • Once the rice is cooked, stir in the shredded chicken and heavy cream.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

This soup can be refrigerated for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.
